Show Your Gratitude Here.....

May Spirit grant you peace on your journey, for all journeys are one journey… We are all going to the same place, so we may as well help each other along the way; thank you for the part of the journey you chose so I could learn through your experiences.

Taken from the InnerSelf.com - Daily Inspiration:

You can change your habits and learn to manage your time, but without learning to manage your mind, inner peace is impossible. Even when you're sitting in a comfortable living room, surrounded by loved ones and trying to relax, your mind is capable of producing outrageously stressful mental movies.
You probably create them several times a day, perhaps without even noticing what you're doing. The key to making your mind your ally, rather than your enemy, is to become aware of how you produce and direct your very own cinema of the absurd. Then you can choose to run a different feature. Awareness and choice are the keys to mental peace. This week, notice your thinking and develop the habit of awareness. Witness your thoughts with the recognition that you are not your thoughts. They are just a mental movie, and you can make the choice to
run another film. Try saying an emphatic mental "Stop it" when you feel tense and constricted by unproductive obsessing. Then substitute a train of thought that can be your ally in experiencing inner peace. Namaste

In order for spirits to reach us...

....our minds must be open to what could be. Negative thinking, skepticism, and control create restriction, and spirits cannot harness the energy from us necessary to communicate.

Why does our body need water?

Nutrition
What is it that makes water so important? You have an idea? I'll tell you what I think. The most important thing about water is that we need it badly. So badly that if we don't drink it, we die. Long before you would die from starvation, you'd die from dehydration.
Now what does that tell us? It tells us only one thing. Water consumption is one of the most important parts of our diet. Our body needs, no craves water badly. When you don't drink enough water, your body will suffer. You probably already know that 70 % of our body is made of water. Sweating, breathing, living,... you lose water all the time!
Let's take a look at some of the main bodily functions in which water plays an important role.
Water is essential for our bodily functions
  • Water protects our organs and body parts and holds them together.
  • Water is essential for our body cells, it gives them strength.
  • Water is used to transport nutrients, waste matter, hormones and other things in our body
Water can help you maintain and lose weight
  • Drinking water before a meal will regulate your appetite, making you feel full and satisfied a lot faster. As a result you will eat less and for that, lose weight.
  • Drinking water gives your metabolism a small boost, because your body will be well oiled.
Water helps cure other health issues
  • Drinking more water will make you retain less water.
  • One glass of water can sometimes cure a headache.
  • Waters Lowers blood pressure and cholesterol.
  • Water Decrease chance of kidney stones.
  • Water gives you energy when you feel tired

bless your water
and ask it to bless

Beautiful Spring Day..

The sun is shining in a clear blue sky decorated
with a gentle cloud from a plane passing overhead.
I wonder what journey the people in the plane
have embarked on.. what journey are you on?

Practice Energy Generating Habits...

Feeling tired all the time? Not getting anything done?
Is life too overwhelming to do the things you love?

Ask yourself this, "What do I enjoy doing? What gives me energy?" Come up with at least three things. For me they are writing, walking and helping other achieve their dreams and goals.

Here's the fun part. Before you go to bed tonight commit to doing one of those things first thing in the morning. Dedicate one hour to one or two things on your list. If one hour sounds like too much to take on at first, dedicate 20 minutes. Commit to doing this for the rest of the week.

But, you say, I'm too busy. How will I find the time to do all the other things I have to do? It's important to put first things first. Those who truly care about you, don't really care how messy your house is but they do care about how happy you are. Put your passions first and see how much you get accomplished.

I look forward to hearing how this small change has given you energy.....

rekindles our energy; that stirs our
burnt-embers, our smoldering desires,
to see our own truth."

Thought for the day....

The work will wait while you show the child the rainbow,
but the rainbow won’t wait while you finish the work.

"Love is the most healing force in the world. Nothing goes deeper than love: it heals not only the body, not only the mind, but also the soul. If one can love, then all one`s wounds disappear. Then one becomes whole - and to be whole is to be holy."
~ Osho

Love this quote...

The Archangel Michael reminds us...

"Enjoy your life, no matter what. Don't wait for your life to be 'perfect' before you allow yourself to be happy. Be happy right now, and that way, your life IS perfect right now."

The meaning of Namaste..

The gesture Namaste represents the belief that there is a Divine spark within each of us that is located in the heart chakra. The gesture is an acknowledgment of the soul in one by the soul in another. "Nama" means bow, "as" means I, and "te" means you. Therefore, Namaste literally means "bow me you" or "I bow to you." To perform Namaste, we place the hands together at the heart charka, close the eyes, and bow the head. It can also be done by placing the hands together in front of the third eye, bowing the head, and then bringing the hands down to the heart. This is an especially deep form of respect. Although in the West the word "Namaste" is usually spoken in conjunction with the gesture, in India, it is understood that the gesture itself signifies Namaste, and therefore, it is unnecessary to say the word while bowing.
We bring the hands together at the heart chakra to increase the flow of Divine love. Bowing the head and closing the eyes helps the mind surrender to the Divine in the heart. One can do Namaste to oneself as a meditation technique to go deeper inside the heart chakra; when done with someone else, it is also a beautiful, albeit quick, meditation. The Knots Prayer

Divine Spirit:
Please untie the knots
that are in my mind,
my heart and life.

Remove the have nots,
the can nots and the do nots
that I have in my mind.

Erase the will nots, may nots,
might nots that may
find a home in my heart.

Release me from the could nots
would nots, and should nots
that obstruct my life.

And most of all Divine Spirit
I ask that you remove from my mind
my heart and my life all of the 'am  nots'
that I have allowed to hold me back,
especially the thought that I
am not good enough.
~ Amen (author unknown)

A brand new day..

Hello Everyone and welcome to my blog. I've never had a blog before so this is a first for me. The reason I have started this blog is to put to the test The Law of Attraction. We've all heard about it, some of us have tried it a bit, or maybe a lot. So here's the plan...

I'm going to incorporate as much Attraction into my daily life as possible. Cancel negative thinking and limiting thoughts. Bring on the good stuff. Please feel free to comment and I will keep you updated.

Remember.. Your words create your world....... Cindy
